Using the apps

• You may use the apps for your own personal or business record-keeping. Don’t misuse them: no breaking in, overloading our servers, scraping, or using someone else’s account or bank login without permission.
• SpendFox and TruWiz are for people 18 and over. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us.

Your information

• What you add to an app stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run the app for you, as the privacy policy describes.
• Only add information you have the right to use. If you enter details about other people, such as tenants in TruWiz, you’re responsible for having a good reason to keep them.

Not financial, tax or weather advice

• The apps help you keep track. They don’t give financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Check important numbers against your bank statements and records, and talk to a professional before acting on them.
• Bank data in SpendFox comes from your bank through Plaid and can be late, incomplete or wrong. Receipts read by TruWiz can be misread; check each one before you save it.
• Forecasts, radar and alerts in RainTrace can be wrong or late. Don’t rely on RainTrace for safety decisions; follow official warnings from your local authorities.

Other services

Some features rely on other companies, such as Plaid for bank connections, Apple and Google for sign-in, maps and app stores, and weather and AI providers. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and we aren’t responsible for them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the apps running and your data safe, but we can’t promise they will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop a feature or an app. If we stop an app that stores your data, we’ll tell you in advance and give you a way to export it where the app supports export.

Ending your use

You can stop using an app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or our systems at risk.

Disclaimers and limits

The apps are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by the data from banks, weather sources or other services being wrong. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. If we change them, we update the date above, and for changes that matter we tell you in the app before they take effect.
