TruWiz, Inc. makes TruWiz. You can delete your TruWiz account yourself in the app, or ask us to do it.
In the app
- Open TruWiz and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab and scroll to Danger zone.
- Tap Delete my account, read what will happen to each portfolio, type DELETE and confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once.
Without the app
Email us from the address you use for TruWiz. We check that the request comes from that address, delete the account, and reply when it’s done, within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, sign-in, private cards and checkboxes, and receipt-scan counts.
- Every portfolio you own alone, with its properties, units, expenses, receipts and income.
What stays, and why
- A portfolio you own that has other members is handed to the member who joined first, so their records aren’t lost. They become the owner and can see all of its properties.
- Entries you added to someone else’s portfolio stay in that portfolio, as part of the owner’s books. Your membership is removed.
- Server logs are kept for a limited time by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, then expire.
Details are in the TruWiz Privacy Policy.
